Nailah's voice resonates with the spirit of her influences-- Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone,
Curtis Mayfield, Gil Scott-Heron and Brian Jackson, and the Elders Choir at St. John CME Church.
She has recorded and toured with several artists including Beck, John Cale (co-founder of the
Velvet Underground), Warren G and The G-Funk Family, Rosey, Cree Summer, and Masauko Chipembere.
Nailah has also co-written songs with noted jazz artists Tom Scott and Jeff Lorber, and her
music has been featured on the popular FX television show, "The Shield."
